Mr. Gilberg, a shareholder in the firm, has been practicing environmental law since 1981, concentrating in air quality and hazardous waste-related issues affecting manufacturing industries and economic development interests. Mr. Gilberg regularly handles complex and contested air, water, stormwater and waste-related permitting issues, surface and subsurface contamination problems, and regulatory enforcement actions. A significant part of his practice also includes strategic environmental counseling and risk management in the purchase and sale of business interests and real estate. Ambient and indoor air quality, water quality and availability, toxic substances, and matters involving the Texas State Department of Health Services and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are also an important part of his practice.

Mr. Gilberg is an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Law at the University of North Texas College of Law.
