Paul Seals Joins the Firm’s Austin Office

Guida, Slavich & Flores is pleased to announce that Paul Seals has joined the firm as a shareholder resident in the firm’s Austin office.  Mr. Seals brings to the firm and its clients 35 years of experience in dealing with environmental regulatory matters. His practice includes environmental public law and policy, licensing and compliance matters.  In addition to providing environmental counseling on numerous project development, liability and compliance issues, including environmental due diligence associated with corporate and real estate transactions, he has experience in both administrative and judicial litigation.   Mr. Seals is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in Chambers USA:  Americas Leading Lawyers for Business, The Best Lawyers in America and Whos Who in America, Whos Who Legal.  He has been named in surveys by his peers in the Texas legal field as a “Super Lawyer” in Texas Monthly Magazine

Prior to entering private practice in 1987, Mr. Seals served for 15 years in senior positions in federal and state government, including as regional counsel in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Region 6 office in Dallas and as assistant general counsel for the Texas Department of Water Resources, a predecessor agency of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.  He received his undergraduate degree from St. Edward's University and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
