Tonya Meier, a shareholder in the Firm, has practiced civil litigation since 1996. Ms. Meier's practice is focused on commercial litigation on the behalf of businesses in the areas of contract disputes, environmental issues, fraud, employment, and DTPA violations. Ms. Meier has maintained an active trial practice in both State and Federal Court and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Ms. Meier has successfully pursued and defended claims on behalf of clients involving multi-million dollar claims. A sampling of her experience includes:

for employees and upper management employees;

the EEOC, TCHR, DOL and NLRB;
Ms. Meier received her law degree
in 1996 from the Boyd School of Law at the University of Iowa and graduated
magna cum laude from Monmouth College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Art's degree.
Ms. Meier completed a pupilage in London, England with the Chambers of Mark
Wyth in 1994. She served as an Editor of the Transnational Law and Contemporary
Problems Journal from 1994 until 1996. Ms. Meier also participated in the International
Law Symposium in Bordeaux, France in 1994. In 2006 she was named one of Dallas'
"Best Lawyers Under 40" in a D Magazine survey.
Ms. Meier is admitted to practice in the State of Texas, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Dallas Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.
