Greg Rogers' Paper Wins ABA Award

Greg Rogers’ paper, “Environmental Financial Disclosure Rules and Their Impact on Brownfields Transactions,” was among the “Best Papers" selected at the ABA Environment, Energy, and Resources Law Summit: 16th Section Fall Meeting held September 17-20, 2008 in Phoenix, AZ.  The paper discusses recent developments in financial accounting standards, including the application of “mark-to-market” accounting rules to nonfinancial liabilities and contingencies, and how these developments will affect real estate and commercial transactions involving environmentally impaired properties.  This is Mr. Rogers’ second ABA award in as many years.  His paper “Environmental Disclosure Due Diligence: Taking the Next Step in Environmental Due Diligence,“ received the ABA’s Best Papers Award in 2007.
