Mr. Gilberg, a shareholder in the firm, has been practicing environmental law since 1981, concentrating in air quality and hazardous waste-related issues affecting manufacturing industries and economic development interests. Mr. Gilberg regularly handles complex and contested air, water, stormwater and waste-related permitting issues, surface and subsurface contamination problems, public and private environmental litigation and agency regulatory enforcement actions. Ambient and indoor air quality, water quality and availability, toxic substances, and matters involving the Texas Department of Health and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are also an important part of his practice. A significant part of his practice also includes strategic environmental counseling and risk management in the purchase and sale of business interests and real estate. He also works on health and safety issues, including OSHA, MSHA, worker exposure, and asbestos matters.

  • Chair of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce Environmental Task Force in 1998 He is currently a Board Member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Ozone Non-Attainment Area Emissions Reduction Credit Organization, and previously served as its Chair in 1997-1998
